Intel® Wireless Display (Intel® WiDi)
How do I adjust the audio once I move my laptop content to the TV?

Once a wireless connection to the Intel® WiDi compatible adapter starts, the laptop sound is muted. When the connection ends, the laptop sound is enabled.

Audio Testing
When connected, click the Test audio button on the Adapter properties page. This opens the audio test page. Click the Play sample button. If you do not hear the audio, increase the volume on the TV speakers by using the TV remote.

Global Volume Control
Normally the laptop sound is muted after connecting to Intel WiDi. Sometimes other applications can automatically turn on the laptop sound. This results in hearing the same sound from the laptop before hearing it from the TV. To turn the volume off, mute the laptop sound. Click the speaker icon located on taskbar. Click the speaker icon again, just below the slider, to mute the sound. You can also turn the volume all the way down using the slider in the pop up window instead of muting. Moving the volume slider will automatically unmute the speakers.
