To resolve a connection issue, try each solution in the order presented, until the issue is resolved.
- Close Intel® WiDi, reopen the application, click Scan for available adapters, click Connect.
- Shutdown the computer, Restart, and open Intel WiDi, click Scan for available adapters, click Connect.
- Power on/off the TV adapter, click Scan for available adapters, click Connect. See adapter manual for help resetting the adapter.
- Check the laptop firewall settings. See how to manually allow the program through the firewall.
- Your adapter might need updating. To receive support and updates, you need to register your adapter. receive updates. Click Properties.

Under Register adapter, click Register. Click Update available button if it displays on screen.
