Solution:
Follow the steps below:
1. Install the Xircom® RealPort2™ Bluetooth* Adapter on your computer.
2. Open Blueview.
3. On the Ericsson R520, go to the Extra Menu. Choose the option Discoverable.
4. Go to Blueview environment and click the icon Search.
5. Blueview will find a cellular phone.
6. In New Devices under range you will find the Ericsson R520.
7. If you select the Ericsson R520 phone, you will find on the right window the option of making a Dial-up connection. Select connect and choose permanent connection.
8. Select Discoverable in Blueview. The Xircom R2BT will now be discoverable for 3 minutes.
9. Go to the Ericsson R520 phone menu under Extra, select the submenu Bluetooth and select Operation. Select Discover. The Ericsson R520 will now search for new Bluetooth devices within range. It will find the Xircom R2BT card. Select Add to paired devices then enter a passkey (up to 16 digits).
10. When you have entered the passkey on the Ericsson R520, a pop-up screen in Blueview will appear. Enter the same passkey as was entered on the Ericsson R520.
11. On the Ericsson R520, fill out the name tag for the phone (e.g. XircomBT) then go to the Extra - Bluetooth - Operation and select On.
12. In Blueview disable and re-enable the radio. This will make a permanent connection between your Xircom R2BT and the Ericsson R520 phone.
