Certain third-party utilities that control or manage radios on the computer platform may cause conflicts with the Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Connection Utility. Please see the manufacturer’s Web site of the third-party utility for updates to their software that do not cause this issue.

If you have encountered the issue, typically you will have to follow these steps to recover.

1. Remove the Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Connection Utility. For example, open Control Panel and then Add/Remove Programs on Microsoft Windows XP*.
2. Install the appropriate update for the third-party utility.
3. Reinstall the Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Connection Utility.
