Why is Intel no longer offering the Intel® WiMAX/WiFi Link 5350?
This adapter has been discontinued to prepare for the next generation WiMAX/WiFi wireless network adapter.
How long will Intel provide drivers for the Intel® WiMAX/WiFi Link 5350?
Each laptop computer original equipment manufacturer (OEM) may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes. Please refer to your manufacturer for information specific to your laptop computer. Alternatively, generic drivers for the Intel® WiMAX/WiFi Link 5350 can be obtained in Download Center.
How long will Intel provide support for the Intel® WiMAX/WiFi Link 5350?
It is expected that phone and email support will continue for this product through December 31, 2011, and web support will continue one additional year to December 30, 2012.
What if I have problems with my Intel® WiMAX/WiFi Link 5350 and need an RMA. Will you still honor the warranty?
You should first refer to your original equipment manufacturer (OEM), or other point of purchase, for warranty information specific to your laptop computer. The Intel® WiMAX/WiFi Link 5350 has a one-year (1-year) limited warranty from date of purchase. Intel will honor this warranty through June 30, 2010.
