Remove Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Connection Utility

Perform the steps herein to remove Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiMAX1 Connection Utility.

For XP Users

  1. Click Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
  2. Click Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Software.
  3. Click Change.
  4. The next message displays:
    Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard to Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Software. Click Next.
  5. Click Remove.
  6. Click Next.
  7. The removal may take several minutes. After the software is removed, the message InstallShield Wizard Completed! displays. Click Finish.
  8. A message may request that you restart your computer. If so, click Yes to restart the computer.

For Vista Users

  1. Click Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  2. Locate and click Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Software.
  3. Above the list of applications, click Uninstall. A minute or two may pass before the process completes.

For Windows 7 Users

  1. Click Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  2. Locate and click Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Software.
  3. Above the list of applications, click Uninstall. A minute or two may pass before the process completes.
