Your Wi-Fi radio can be switched on from Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility using one of the following methods:
- Right-click the Intel PROSet icon
 in the toolbar lower right corner of your desktop and click WiFi On.
- Double-click the Intel PROSet icon
 and select WiFi On in the Hardware drop down option in the Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility.
The PROSet icon changes to  .
The utility automatically connects to an available network or you can manually connect to a network.

If you do not see the icon on the taskbar, this feature is not enabled. To enable this feature, open the Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility and select Tools > Application Settings. In the Advanced Settings list under Taskbar, select Show icon on the taskbar and OK. | |
