Uninstall Wi-Fi adapter driver

Caution
Removing the Intel® Wi-Fi adapter driver means you will not be able to use the wireless adapter on your computer. Uninstalling the driver is recommended as a final troubleshooting option and should not be done unless directed by an Intel technical support agent.

If uninstalling the driver is recommended, download the latest drivers before starting this process.

Note Uninstalling the driver for the Wi-Fi adapter does not uninstall associated software.

  1. Open the Device Manager.
Windows XP*: Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware
Windows Vista*/Windows 7*: Start > Control Panel > System and Maintenance > System
