Intel® PROSet/Wireless software versions 10.x thru 11.5.1.2 supports single sign on to a Novell* network using a pre-logon profile. This feature is only supported when using Novell Client* version 4.90 Support Pack 2 for Microsoft* Windows* 2000/XP. Other versions of the Novell Client are not supported by Intel PROSet/Wireless software.
Supported wireless adapters:
- Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN
- Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection
- Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection
- Intel® PRO/Wireless 2915ABG Network Connection
| Note |
- The Intel PROSet 12.x Pre-logon Connect function does not interact with Novell Netware* logon manager (any version).
- The Intel PROSet 11.5.x Pre-logon Connect function supports the Novell Netware 4.90-SP2 logon manager.
- Intel PROSet 12.x functions with all other Novell client features.

When using the Single Sign On feature with the Novell Client for Microsoft Windows*:
- Ensure that the Novell Client for Microsoft Windows 2000/XP is version 4.90 Support Pack 2 (SP2). Other versions of the client are not supported.
- Verify that the Use pre-logon feature for wireless networks is selected on the Novell Client for Microsoft Windows 2000/XP login screen. The Use pre-logon feature for wireless networks feature is found on the Novell Client for Microsoft Windows 2000/XP Wireless tab.
When configuring the pre-logon profile, the Use windows logon option for user credentials will authenticate to the Wireless LAN using the user name and password entered on the Novell Client for Microsoft Windows login screen.
