Notes
- The Intel® PRO/Wireless 2011 product family will continue to utilize the 2.x firmware. The Intel PRO/Wireless 2011B product family will utilize 3.x firmware. Important to note is the adapter device driver loads the adapter firmware at runtime in a 2011B adapter - hence a separate firmware update procedure for 2011B adapters is not required. If the 3.x driver detects a 2011 family adapter, it does not load the firmware.
- Neither the PROSet User Interface nor the adapter switching software are supported under Windows* 95 - the installation program will load the WLAN utilities (2.x user interface) for Windows 95.
- The 2011 PC Card requires the 3.0.1 or later software in conjunction with the 2.5 firmware to enable the PC Card capabilities.
- Windows XP is supported by PROSET starting with version 3.1.1 / 6.2.
