Symptom(s):
Unable to find a hardware upgrade to IEEE* 802.11a/802.11b/802.11g/802.11n/802.16e, or combination of these technologies, for Intel® wireless adapters.
Solution:
Contact your manufacturer or point of purchase for upgrade availability and support for Intel wireless adapters.

Newer Intel® wireless adapters use a PCIe mini card connector. This is a different physical connector and electrical interface and cannot be used to replace older adapters using a mini PCI connector. Examples of these older adapters are: Intel® PRO/Wireless 2100/2100A/2200BG/ 2915ABG Network Connections. | |
Regulatory information Installation or use of the various Intel wireless adapters is subject to country-specific legal regulations. In certain countries, this product can only be installed in systems that have a system level regulatory approval. This approval must be obtained by the manufacturer of the system (OEM/ODM) or the installer of this device. If the manufacturer does not have the necessary approvals, the party installing the device is responsible for those approvals. Installing these adapters in an unauthorized system may be illegal.
