Intel recommends uninstalling all wireless software applications before upgrading to Windows* 8. You might see popup messages requiring you to uninstall Intel wireless software during the OS installation.
Uninstall the Intel PROSet/Wireless WiMAX software and update the WiMAX software after Windows 8 is installed. Windows 8 installs correctly with Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiMAX software, but the WiMAX software might not work after the OS upgrade.
