Run the Intel® Driver Update Utility to automatically download and update the software or manually download the software.

When you update Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software, the driver is also updated by default. If you do not want to install the driver, select Custom Setup during the installation process and select This feature will not be available from the Intel® wireless driver dropdown. | |
After you have the software on your hard drive, double-click the executable (Autorun.exe). The installation wizard guides you through the process.
During the install process, you need to choose between Typical or Custom option.
A Typical option installs the Wi-Fi protected setup and Intel® Wireless Troubleshooter features. The Wi-Fi protected setup quickly connects you to the Internet if your hardware setup is complete. Intel Wireless Troubleshooter helps troubleshoot connection issues.
A Custom option installs additional features:
If you want to install only one of these features, select Modify on the appropriate screen and select the feature you would like to add.

If you plan to use Novell Client for Windows*, it should be installed prior to installing Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility. If Intel PROSet/Wireless is already installed, you should remove it prior to installation of Novell Client for Windows. | |
