Intel® PROSet/Wireless connection status and network icons
The following information explains the connection status and network icons you will see in the Intel® PROSet/Wireless Connection Utility and on Windows taskbar.
If this icon is present, it means that the wireless radio is not associated to a network. Click Wi-Fi On to enable the radio.
If this icon is present, it means that the Wi-Fi network could not be authenticated.
If this icon is present, it means that the Wi-Fi adapter is currently searching for an available wireless network.
If this icon is present, it means that the Wi-Fi adapter did not find any available Wi-Fi networks.
This icon means that the Wi-Fi adapter found an available Wi-Fi network. You can choose to connect to available networks displayed in the Wireless Networks list.
You are connecting to a Wi-Fi network. The crescent shaped curves switch between green and white until an IP Address is obtained or a connection error occurs.
You are connected to a Wi-Fi network. The network name, speed, signal quality, and IP address display the current connection status. Click the Details button to display details of the current network connection.
