Removing the Intel® Wi-Fi adapter driver means you will not be able to use the wireless adapter on your computer. Uninstalling the driver is recommended as a final troubleshooting option and should not be done unless directed by an Intel technical support agent.
If uninstalling the driver is recommended, download the latest drivers before starting this process. | |

Complete the following steps to uninstall the Intel Wi-Fi adapter driver:
- Open the Device Manager.
Windows XP*: Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware Windows Vista*/Windows 7*: Start > Control Panel > System and Maintenance > System
- Click the + Network adapters to expand the section.
- Right-click the Intel Wi-Fi adapter and select Properties.
- Click Driver tab.
- Click Uninstall.
- Check Delete the driver software for this device and click OK.
