How to edit the name of the notebook generated wireless network ID (SSID)

There are two methods to view the Network Security (SSID) and security key settings for Intel® My WiFi Technology (Intel® MWT).

From the Intel® My WiFi Technology Software Utility menu, select the + symbol and view Manually configure device settings. For more details go to step 2 below.

Alternatively, from the Intel® My WiFi Software Technology Utility menu, select the Profile settings. Edit your profile by selecting Edit . Select the Security tab to view and change the security settings.

By default, the name of your notebook will be selected as your SSID. Default security settings are WPA2. Default Profile is Intel Wireless PAN.

Note Changes to the Network ID (SSID) or security settings will cause connected devices to disconnect.
