Intel® My WiFi Technology (Intel® MWT)
How to connect devices using Intel® My WiFi Technology (Intel® MWT) with WPS*

Each device vendor may have a different procedure used to initially connect their device to a PC. Begin by reading device documentation to identify the procedure on the device to enable Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS*).

To use Intel® My WiFi Technology (Intel® MWT) to connect a device, identify if your device uses a PIN or physical pushbutton to enable WPS.

Pushbutton: Select the pushbutton on the device. In the Intel My WiFi Technology software, select device icon and select the + symbol to connect device. Select pushbutton configuration method to configure connection in the software. When complete, device will be in connected device window. If the device times out, retry procedure and/or bring device near notebook.

PIN: Write the WPS network setup PIN from the device. In the Intel My WiFi Technology software, select device icon and select the + symbol to connect device. Select PIN method to configure connection in the software. Enter PIN from device into the Intel® My WiFi Technology menu. When complete, device will be in connected device window. If the device times out, retry procedure and/or bring device near notebook.

Note Intel My WiFi Technology is supported only on the Windows 7* operating system with driver versions 13.1.1 and newer.
