Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software version 11.5 and later supports draft 2.0 of the IEEE* 802.11n specification and is Wi-Fi Certified* for 802.11n.
In November 2007, the IEEE* Task Group 802.11n (TGn) voted to accept draft version 3.0 and is currently working on completing draft version 3.01 in early 2008.
The final IEEE* 802.11n specification ratification is expected to be published in late 2008/early 2009. There are several revisions of the draft standard currently in publication. Products manufactured for different draft standards may not be interoperable. Draft standard products may not be compatible with final standard products or may require firmware (software) upgrades to be compatible with the final 802.11n standard.
