Why did Intel discontinue their 2011b and 5000 Wireless LAN Access Points and PC Cards?
Intel is concentrating on its core strengths to develop and manufacture LAN silicon solutions.

How long will Intel offer phone support for discontinued products?
Customer Support will provide phone support until January 20th, 2004. Online self help support will continue at least through a period of 1 year beyond the product's warranty period.

Will Intel honor the various product warranties, including those that have "limited lifetime" warranties?
Yes. Intel is committed to support its customers and will honor all product warranties. Customers should expect to produce a copy of the original purchase invoice.
