By default, Intel® IT Director log service is disabled. But if you want to check the log file for troubleshooting, it can be enabled by creating the registry key for Intel® IT Director. The log file will be stored at the installation folder with format: ISBNHULog<YYYYMMDD>.txt after you enable it.
Solution
- For 32bit system, please create the register key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intel\Intel(R) IT Director\Log],
Set the value to:
LogLevel=dword: 00000000; LogTarget=dword: 00000007
- For 64bit system, please create the register key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Intel\Intel(R) IT Director\Log], Set the value to:
Loglevel=dword: 00000000; LogTarget=dword: 00000007
Reboot the system to make the Intel® IT Director start to trace the log messages.
We recommend you change back the settings to default after you finish the troubleshooting to avoid the log file size increase.
