Playback of media is poor or choppy

If playback of media is poor or choppy, verify the following:

Adequate Bandwidth
Wireless Configuration
Verify Media Location



Adequate Bandwidth
Playback quality is subject to available bandwidth on the network.

Solution: Limit other devices from using network bandwidth. Contact your Internet service provider and/or router manufacturer to see what options are available to increase your bandwidth.

NOTE: High definition video playback is best viewed through a wired configuration.



Wireless Configuration

The nature of a wireless configuration my degrade playback quality.

Solution: If you are using a wireless networked media device, try connecting the device directly to the Intel® Viiv™ technology-based PC.



Verify Media Location
Accessing media from a networked PC, removable device (such as a USB Flash drive), or shared hard drive can effect streaming rates.

Solution: Move media to a shared folder on the Intel Viiv technology-based PC.
