How to Find the SSD Firmware Version

To find the SSD Firmware version in the Intel® Solid-State Drive Toolbox:

  1. Click Start > All Programs > Intel® Solid-State Drive Toolbox.
  2. Open the Intel® Solid-State Drive Toolbox. The firmware version will be displayed just below the 'Drive Summary' as highlighted.

To find SSD Firmware version in Windows*:

  1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
  2. In Control Panel, double-click System, click Hardware, click Device Manager.
  3. Look for Disk Drives in the list of hardware and click the + sign.

  4. Right-click INTEL SSD device (example: INTEL SSDSA2MH080G1GN), select Properties, click Details tab.

    The Firmware Revision is the first eight alpha-numeric digits of the Device Instance ID.
