Even if VSS service is enabled, the SSD Toolbox Optimizer may display a VSS warning on Non-English Windows XP system with Intel® X25-M Solid-State Drive, 80GB SATA II 2.5in, MLC, High Performance.

Issue can be duplicated when using Intel® Solid-State Drive in desktop, laptop, server systems with Non-English OS. | |
There are two possible solutions to resolve this issue.
1. Click on the Start button, select run. Type in "cmd" to launch the command prompt. Right-click on the title bar of the command prompt then select "Defaults". Change default codepage to 437 (OEM- United States) then click OK.
2. Click on the Start button and launch the Control Panel. Choose regional and Language Settings. Select English under regional settings then restart the system.
