If you replace the processor, the upgrade will still be installed since it is implemented and is tied to the motherboard of the system. Once you have placed the replacement processor, make sure it is the G6952 in the system properties.
G6952 indicates the upgrade is still applied. If it is listed as G6951, you most likely did not upgrade prior to your replacement. Contact your place of purchase if you have any questions about what you purchased.
