Windows 8* Support for Intel® Anti-Theft Service
If you are planning to upgrade to Windows 8* and are currently using Intel® Anti-Theft Service, we strongly recommend you unsubscribe/uninstall Intel Anti-Theft Service before upgrading to Windows 8. Please refer to our user guide for detailed steps.
If you upgraded from Windows 7* to Windows 8, please make sure the following components are installed before starting new Intel Anti-Theft Service enrollment (or even reinstalling the client software).

If you enrolled in Intel Anti-Theft Service on Windows 7 and didn’t uninstall Intel Anti-Theft Service before upgrading to Windows 8 with the option Custom: Install Windows only or Personal files only:
Verify that all the pre-requisites are complete (mentioned at the top).
Login to ATservice.intel.com.
Please ensure the right machine is selected in top right dropdown.
Click on reinstall Device Software and follow the steps.
This should reinstall the client software on your machine (including Windows 8).
