How Do I Reinstall or Repair the Intel® Anti-Theft Service Software?

In certain situations, your subscription to the Intel® Anti-Theft Service may be current, but you may not be able to access it because of disk drive corruption, a hard disk change, or other system changes. To continue using the Intel Anti-Theft Service, you will need to log in and reinstall the necessary software.

To recover the Intel® Anti-Theft Service:

  1. Log in to the Intel Anti-Theft Service web site using your current password.

  2. Click Help.

  3. Click Reinstall Device Software on the Device Lockdown (tab).

  4. Check I agree to the Terms and Conditions and then click on the Download Tool button.

  5. Click Run on the Java Pop-up.

  6. Click on the Yes button on the installer Pop-up.

  7. Download In progress.

  8. Click on the Install Now button.

  9. Click on the Yes button on the installer Pop-up.

  10. Installation is in progress.

  11. Click on the Yes button on the Installer Pop-up. (For SDV)

  12. Installation Complete.

After the installation is complete, your system will automatically sync to the server and begin the unsubscribe process.

Note If the PC fails to sync to the server, then force a sync by right clicking on the IATS tool tray icon and select Synchronize settings with server. Wait a minute, then right click the icon again and select Server Synchronization Status. The state should be Success at the current date and time.
  1. From the tray icon, click on Synchronize Setting with Server.

  2. Synchronization Success.
