The first time the main server and secondary server are synchronized takes longer than subsequent synchronizations. The amount of data copy/transfer between the servers and the combination of encryption, LAN, and hard drive speed, impacts timing.

The initial sync between servers can take up to 10 hours for 2 TBs of data. | |
After the initial sync, only snapshot synchronizations are done. Typically the amount of data transferred is smaller, and takes less time.
