The Intel® Hybrid Cloud Server manager edits the Microsoft Windows* host file by adding the hostname and IP address of the server. When a security program locks a Windows host file, it can prevent the user from logging into the Intel® Hybrid Cloud Server.
As a workaround, try one of these solutions:
- Use a different management computer without any security program.
- Disable the security program that prevents the host file from being edited.
- Configure the security program to unhide host file and provide access to it.
- If no security program is running, follow Microsoft's instructions on how to create a new host file.
