Intel® Processor Identification Utility
Supported operating systems

The Microsoft Windows* version of the Intel® Processor Identification Utility is compatible with the following operating systems:

Independent operating systems
The bootable version of the Intel Processor Identification Utility is available in an .exe file format (operating system independent). After a bootable disk is created, that disk can be used on any platform by rebooting the system with the disk in a bootable drive. Once the system boots, the utility loads and identifies the Intel® Processor.
