Power Management modes may interfere with speed detection tests performed by the Processor Identification Utility. Power management modes can result in a marginally higher or lower reported frequency than the expected frequency. If the reported frequency differs from what was expected, reset the system power management modes, plug in the system power cord, and reboot the system before retesting.
Small variations in clock frequencies are common. If there appears to be a significant variation, please contact the PC system manufacturer or microprocessor place of purchase.
