Who provides the warranty?

OEM processor family
The manufacturer or supplier of your computer system generally provides a warranty. Check the warranty documentation that came with your system for warranty coverage information.
Boxed Processor family
Intel provides a limited warranty on Intel boxed processors (whether purchased separately or as part of a computer system).

What is the length of the warranty period?

OEM processor family
The length of the OEM-provided warranty depends on the OEM. Check the warranty documentation that came with your system to determine the length of the warranty. Or contact your computer manufacturer or place of purchase for warranty information.
Boxed Processor family
Intel offers a three-year limited warranty to original purchasers of Intel boxed processors.
