The Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor is a Microsoft Windows 7* and Windows 8* application designed to display processor frequency activity and show energy saver mode. The Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor only runs on PCs with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology capable processors.
The latest version is backward compatible with previous generation Intel® Processors with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology.
To stop Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor, close the Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor window or right-click Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor window and uncheck Run at Startup. Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor will not start the next time the system boots up.
Check if you changed the processor. Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor only works on Intel® Processors with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, see supported processors in this document.
Check if you changed BIOS settings for Intel® Turbo Boost Technology.
Uninstall Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor and reinstall the utility.
