This video demonstrates the integration process for Intel® Processors based on the LGA1150, LGA1155, and LGA1156 desktop sockets.
This installation video refers to the installation of LGA1156 socket processors and fan-heatsinks. These instructions are also applicable to LGA1150/LGA1155 based processors due to the similarity between the installation processes.
Please note that at the bottom of this page there are links to installation documents for each socket that show other installation videos, how to reset the fan-heatsink push-pins, and how to reapply thermal interface material.
These processors are not compatible between sockets due to electrical, mechanical, and keying differences.
||The boxed fan-heatsink installation is the same as installation shown in the video for all three sockets because the same fan-heatsinks may be used across the three sockets provided the thermal design profile (TDP) of the processor is the same.|
