General laptop service, support, and troubleshooting

Intel supplies laptop components, but does not manufacture or sell complete laptop systems. For laptop troubleshooting support or wireless access issues, see the contact information listed below.

Note Intel does not recommend opening or upgrading the processor or wireless adapter in a laptop system. Contact the system manufacturer for assistance.

Laptop/notebook manufacturer
Laptop manufacturers customize and validate hardware and software for a whole system. If you are experiencing issues with your laptop, contact the manufacturer or visit their support web site for updated system BIOS, drivers, and solutions to common problems. See laptop vendor support for more information.

Wireless Service Provider
Wireless access requires a connection to a services provider. For issues connecting to a wireless network or hot spot, contact the wireless service providers. Verify the status of the network and the required connection settings.

Intel® Customer Support
If you have a specific issue with Intel® hardware or software that you are unable to resolve with the laptop manufacturer or wireless service provider, contact Intel Customer Support.

The System Information Utility identifies components in your system and provides relevant Intel support links.

Note If you are a registered Intel® Channel Program member, check the Intel Reseller site for more product support information.
