Pentium® II processor cacheability

End of Interactive Support
Intel® is announcing the end of interactive support for the Pentium® II processors. See the End of Interactive Support Announcement for details.

Since the L2 cache is on-board, but not on the same die as the core, the processor can cache up to 512MB of memory.

Pentium® II processors that are on the dA1 stepping can now cache up to 4GB of memory.
