BIOS updates
BIOS updates are specifically designed to update the BIOS on your motherboard. For this reason, you will need to see your motherboard manufacturer's Web site to find updates for your specific board. If you have an Intel® motherboard, see the Intel® Desktop Board support site.
General system or motherboard updates
Since these type of driver updates are for the system or motherboard, and not the processor, you will need to see your motherboard manufacturer's Web site to find these updates for your specific board. If you have an Intel® motherboard, see the Intel® Desktop Board support site. The Intel® chipset software site is another great resource.
Chipset software, audio drivers, and video drivers
Since the chipset is part of your motherboard, the drivers that you will need should be available from your motherboard manufacturer. If you have a board with an Intel® chipset, see the Intel® chipset software site for available drivers. This site includes information on graphics (video), audio, modem, AGP, USB, and LAN (network) drivers.
