This document provides the boxed Intel® Processor and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) order codes for Intel® Core™ i7 Processors. The tables also have links to other processor information.
The Intel® Core™ i7 Processor family has six socket types: LGA2011-v3, LGA2011, LGA1150, LGA1155, LGA1156, and LGA1366. Select a board that supports your socket type and has BIOS support for your processor.
Understanding order codes
If you purchased an Intel® Boxed Processor from a retailer, the processor has a boxed order code. This product includes a processor, manual, sticker, and heatsink, and comes with an Intel three-year warranty. Intel provides technical support and warranty services for these processors.
Tray processors have an OEM order code, and are sold directly to system manufacturers who integrate the processors in their systems. The system manufacturers provide technical support and warranty services directly to the customer.
Graphics driver options
Contact your system manufacturer for drivers. The manufacturer can have customized graphics drivers for your system.
