You have the following two options for entering data:
- Synchronize With PIM:
You can transfer existing information from a laptop or desktop pc to the REX 6000. The REX 6000 can synchronize data with Intellisync* Mobile Desktop and with Microsoft Outlook* 97, 98 and 2000. The Intellisync Mobile Desktop software is included with the REX 6000. If you use this option, you would enter the data into Intellisync Mobile Desktop or Outlook on your laptop or desktop pc, and then synchronize the REX 6000 with your computer to transfer the data.
- Use REX 6000 Touchscreen:
You can also input information directly into the REX easily on its high-resolution touchscreen. The REX 6000 home screen displays eight icons that you simply touch to access. You can show your daily appointments by simply touching the Date.
Note: Since the REX 6000 was designed for frequent synchronization with a PC, for optimal performance and maximum data capacity we recommend that you enter the data into the PC rather than directly into the REX. Inputting data directly to the REX 6000 may use the memory faster.
