TrueSync Desktop* imports many file formats. Even if you have a PC organizer or personal information manager (PIM) that is not listed, it may export files in one of the formats below. Once you export your files in one of the file formats, your files can be imported into TrueSync Desktop.
Contact files can be imported from:
- ASCII Tab Delimited (*.txt)
- Comma Separated File (*.csv)
- dBase III Table (*dbf)
- dBase IV (*.dbf)
- Lotus Organizer* 97 (*.or3)
- Lotus Organizer* 97/GS installed as PIM only (*.or4)
- Microsoft Outlook* 97, 98 and 2000
- Microsoft Schedule*+ 7.0, 7.0a, and 7.5 (*.scd)
- Spreadsheet DIF (*.dif)
- Symantec ACT!* 3.0.6, 3.0.7, 3.0.8, and 4.0 (*.dbf)
Calendar files can be imported from:
- Lotus Organizer* 97 (*.or3)
- Lotus Organizer* 97/GS installed as PIM only (*.or 4)
- Microsoft Outlook* 97, 98 and 2000
- Microsoft Schedule*+ 7.0, 7.0a, 7.5
- Symantec ACT!* 3.0.6, 3.0.7, 3.0.8, and 4.0 (*.dbf)
Memos files can be imported from:
- ASCII text file (*.txt)
- Rich Text File (*.rtf)
You can also use Sidekick* 2.0 (and later) Contact, Calendar, and Memo files by opening them in TrueSync Desktop. To open Sidekick data:
- On the File menu, click Open .

- Select the appropriate file type from the Files of typelist.
