Universal Serial Bus (USB) is supported in Windows* 95 OSR2 (with USB Supplement) or higher (except Windows NT* 4.0), provided the appropriate file(s) have been installed to enable it. Windows NT 4.0 does not come with native USB support.

If your computer came with USB sockets and you installed the operating system, you may be missing some files required to enable USB on your computer. Please check with your computer manufacturer to find out what file(s) may be necessary to enable USB on your computer.

A utility called USBReady* is available from www.usb.org* for use with Windows* 98 and Windows* 98 SE to help determine if the computer is USB enabled.
