Symptom(s):
After installing SQL Server 2000 and corresponding service pack for the IPAT server, and then clicking the management console, one of the following error messages is received:
"SQL Server does not exist" or "access denied"
Cause:
SQL server services may not be started or encountered network connection issue.
Solution:
Ensure the SQL Server has been installed properly and all the services are running properly. Also check the credentials for the log-on account are correct.
