Symptom(s)
After OS image deployment is finished, all clients can not do post configuration automatically. Because the client failed to retrieve IP from BIOS, all clients have the same computer name and IP.
Cause(s)
Intel® Platform Administration Technology OS client service rely on WMI service, and WMI rely on RPC. If RPC service is disabled, the Intel® Platform Administration Technology client cannot work well, which make them failed to retrieve IP and location info from BIOS.
Resolution(s)
Before create OS image, please make sure RPC and WMI service are set as auto start on golden machine.
