Symptom(s): When downloading files on in the "Files Download" area of Intel® Premier Support with Microsoft* Internet Explorer by highlighting the file name, then right click, "Save Target As" files can be corrupted (in the case of .gz files for Linux*) or take an abnormally long time to download (in the case of .exe files for Windows*). The error message for un-tarring a corrupted Linux .gz file downloaded with "Save Target As" may result in one of the following error messages:
- gzip: stdin is encrypted -- not supported
- gzip: stdin is a a multi-part gzip file -- not supported
- gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--format violated
Cause: The cause for this issue is under investigation.
Solution: To work around this issue, click on the highlighted file to download and then "Save" to download files from the "Files Download" area on Intel® Premier Support.
