How to have concurrent outgoing and incoming connections with RVS comm lite?

The following describes how to use RVS Comm Lite to have a Dial-up Connection and as well the possibility to have inbound calls using the ISDN Connection Kit:

  1. Install RVS Comm Lite with the latest CAPI drivers for the ISDN Connection Kit.

  2. When the Configuration Wizard of RVS Comm is launched, do a "Manual Installation" and choose the "CAPI" drivers. Both B-channels will now be available.

  3. In the RVS Commcenter, go to "Settings" and select a second communications (com) port for the second channel (e.g.: Com 5).

  4. Open "Control Panel" and double-click "Modems" icon.

  5. Add an additional RVS Comm modem on this second comport (Com 6) by pressing the Add button, selecting RVS Comm Datentechnik and choosing the RVS Internet PPP modem.

You will now have a RVS Internet PPP modem #2 modem. You can now make a new dialup connection using this second modem, while the first B-channel is still available for inbound calls on the first com port. You can monitor this in the RVS Commcenter.
