Issue: Unable to Make an ISDN Connection
Resolution: This is because the ISDN Connection Kit (CBICK, CICK, RICK)is incorrectly configured. To solve this problem follow the steps below:
- The incoming ISDN line may terminate in either an RJ11 or RJ45 connector. While the connectors on the power supply are both RJ45, a cable with an RJ11 connector can be used (it is plugged into the center of the RJ-45 connector).

- The cable that runs from the NT1 to the ISDN Connection Kit can be plugged into either T1 or T2 on the NT1.

- When the ISDN Connection Kit is connected to the laptop but NOT connected to the NT1, the green LED (nearest the "laptop end" of the ISDN Connection Kit) should be solid, and the yellow LED should flash. When the NT1 cable is connected, the yellow LED should go solid. The "Status" indicator on the NT1 functions in the same manner (flashing when not connected, solid when the connection is good). If this does not occur, then the cable is incorrectly attached, or a component is bad, or the ISDN line may be down.

- There are DIP switches on the underside of the NT1. Normally switches 1-3 are OFF (down position) and switches 4 and 5 are ON (up position).
