Q: What if I'm not quite ready to purchase a 56K modem yet?
A: All of our 56K V.90 Modems will automatically drop down to a 28.8 or 33.6 connection when necessary.
Q: Why can't the firmware upgrade program find my modem?
A: If you are running Fax software, it may be necessary to turn the automatic answer feature off.
Q: Will Fast Ethernet products run on my existing unshielded twisted pair cabling?
A: Yes, as long as it is Cat. 5 cabling. 100Base-TX Fast Ethernet products require the use of Category 5 (data grade) unshielded twisted pair cabling. Most networks are already using Category 5 cabling, in which case no cable changes are necessary.
