Effective September 20th, 2004, Intel announced the discontinuation of the following Xircom® products. However, not all versions of these models are affected. Only the specific product codes listed below have been discontinued:

Q1. Why is Intel no longer offering these products? A1. These products have been discontinued due to recent changes in market segment conditions.
Q2. How long will Intel provide New drivers for these products? A2. Intel will NOT be developing new drivers for these products. Links to information regarding current driver availability can be found on the Intel support site.
Q3. How long will Intel provide support for these products? A3. Telephone and email support via Intel technicians will continue through midnight, August 5th 2005. After that time, only Web information will be available.
Q4. What if I have problems with my product and need an RMA. Will you still honor the warranty? A4. Intel will continue to honor the warranty for the original retail purchaser. All requests for Warranty Replacements (RMAs) of Xircom® wired products must be from the original owner and include a proof of purchase. No RMAs will be processed without proof of purchase. Fill out the RMA Request Form for Xircom® EOIS products and then either click submit or print the page and fax or email it to Intel.
Intel will not provide future software updates to support new operating systems or improve compatibility with third-party devices and software products.
