Note Express Teaming was removed in version 12.2. This feature is no longer supported by Intel. Teaming is supported using advanced network services (ANS).


8.4 Added the following features

  • The Intel® PRO/1000 MT Quad Port Server Adapter no longer has a separate INF or separate software downloads. INF and software are included in the standard PRO adapter driver set.
  • An improved Make disk utility to create base driver installation disks
  • The IDAdapt DOS utility now returns the silicon stepping.
  • The Windows* INF for the 10/100 adapters has been split into two separate INFs: Windows certified 10/100 adapters, and obsolete 10/100 adapters that cannot meet current certification requirements. See Certain obsolete 10/100 Adapters are no longer being WHQL certified for details.
