The network adapter property sheet in Windows Vista* provides information about the network adapter and driver on the computer.
Use one of the following methods to access information on the network adapter, driver version, and Intel® PROSet version.
Device Manager
- Click Start » Control Panel.
- Click System and Maintenance.
- Click Device Manager.
- Click the + symbol in front of Network Adapters to expand the section.
- Right-click the network adapter.
- Click Properties .
- Click the Driver tab to see the driver version.
- Click the Link Speed tab to see the Intel® PROSet version. NOTE: The Link Speed tab will not appear if Intel PROSet is not installed.
My Computer Icon
- Click Start » Computer.
- Click Manage and click Continue.
- Click Device Manager.
- Click the + symbol in front of Network Adapters to expand the section.
- Right-click the network adapter.
- Click Properties.
- Click the Driver tab to see the driver version.
- Click the Link Speed tab to see the Intel PROSet version. NOTE: The Link Speed tab will not appear if Intel PROSet is not installed.
Network and Sharing Center
- Click the Start icon » Control Panel.
- Click Network and Internet.
- Click Network and Sharing Center.
- Right-click network Network Connection.
- Click Properties.
- Click Configure.
- Click the Driver tab to see the driver version.
- Click the Link Speed tab to see the Intel PROSet version. NOTE: The Link Speed tab will not appear if Intel PROSet is not installed.

- Click the Start icon » Network.
- Click Network and Sharing Center.
- Right-click network Network Connection.
- Click Properties.

System Tray Icon
- Right-click the network system tray icon (the icon that displays two computer monitors).
- Click Network and Sharing Center.
- Click Manage network networks.
- Click Adapter Properties.
- Click Configure.
- Click the Driver tab to see the driver version.
- Click the Link Speed tab to see the Intel PROSet version. NOTE: The Link Speed tab will not appear if Intel PROSet is not installed.
