Symptom(s):
When running Windows Vista*, after running a download driver package for Intel® Network Adapters for an operating system other than Windows Vista, the Program Compatibility Assistant will launch. The Program Compatibility Assistant says, "This program might not have installed correctly."

Cause:
It is normal for the Program Compatibility Assistant to appear after a failed or aborted installation in Windows Vista.

Solution:
Select "Cancel" because you do not want to try to install drivers for a different operating system in Windows Vista.

If you want to install drivers for your Intel Network Adapter in Windows Vista then download and install the software for Windows Vista:

Latest Driver and software for 32-bit versions of Windows Vista and Server 2008.*
Latest Driver and software for 64-bit versions of Windows Vista and Server 2008.*
